Venticalmi is the Italian translation (the closest I could find!) to “Whisper Wind”. Whisper Wind has been the name of my kennel for years while breeding and showing English Springer Spaniels and Parson Russell Terriers. Since I have ventured almost completely into the Spinone Italiano world, I decided to go “Italian” with my kennel name in honor of the beautiful dogs that the name represents. “Ridgewyn Deep River Whisper” was my last Springer Spaniel which gave me the kennel name “Whisper Wind” and now “Venticalmi”. |
